My favorite
character from Sisters Red is
Scarlett March. In the beginning the girls barely survived the attack of the
Fenris and Scarlett bravely lost her eye in the process. As the older sister, Scarlett
is the leader in this novel and on page 8 she proves her bravery, “A thought
locked itself in Scarlett’s mind, and she repeated it over and over until it
became a chant, a prayer: I am the only
one left to fight, so now I must kill you.” This quote demonstrates how
strong Scarlett’s will to survive is. In the face of danger, Scarlett is not
afraid.
Scarlet has
become determined to hunt the Fenris and she makes it her life goal. The fact
that she is putting her life in danger just to keep young girls safe is what makes
her a very likable character. As a reader, I was rooting for her through the
whole novel.

I agree that Scarlett is very brave throughout the novel. I think the very beginning of chapter one shows just how brave she is when she says, "He's following me. About time." This shows that she wanted 'him', the Fenris, to follow her so she can try to kill it, and she was actually becoming impatient. Scarlett is a very likable character through the novel, showing many inspirational qualities.
I agree she is one of the strongest characters in the book. She puts her life on the line to save people she doesn't even know. She never hesitates to kill and she knows when the time is right. She is brave, good-hearted, and loving. All the right tools to kill the Fenris.
