Overall Opinion
I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this book when I first picked it up. I never had a big interest in things like werewolves or in the books case, fenris. But honestly I found this book to be really good and I really enjoyed it. I finished the book fairly quickly because I didn't want to put it down. It was filled with a lot of action and kept me excited to know what would happen next. I loved how the different point of views would change because it kept the book interesting and exciting it really never got boring. The only bad side to the book was that I found it to be a little predictable. I found myself guessing right away that Silas was going to be the potential and I knew that when he got bitten it was going to be too late for him to turn into a fenris. The book was definitely still good though I just wish it surprised me a little more.
Favorite Character
My favorite character was Scarlett because I thought she was really courageous and she always wanted to do what was right. I felt bad for Scarlett at times because she was always left out from whatever Silas and Rosie seemed to be doing together. Scarlett basically gave up her life to fight for other people and protect them from the Fenris that lived all over. She had such great bravery and a lot of wisdom and it was interesting to read through her perspective throughout the book.

More thoughts on this good ole' book.. (Z.Stamps Grade 10)
Hey guys. I definitely enjoyed the book to begin mainly because of the fact that the two girls were the ones who go after the werewolves to kill them. It gives a rather pleasent twist to the fairy tale from my perspective. I like when females have power and don't seem powerless. Two chicks destroying wolves? Absolutely fantastic.
Just Finished-My Opinion(Z.Stamps 10)

SoI liked the prose of the book. But also that the tale and different chapters between the two sisters become very repetitive very soon, a little soon for my liking I must say. I can tell you that when the next door neighbor, Silas comes back to the town that I knew from the jump that Rosie would fall for him and that was another reason i enjoyed this because I love romance!

My Opinion
Overall I strongly disliked the outcome of this novel, "Sisters Red" by Jackson Pearce. Although initially I was intrigued by the plot line of this story, it unfortunately did not meet my expectations. The book began with promising and interesting characters such as Scarlett, who's tough and determined. She fears the wolves but is simply infatuated with the hunt. Or Grandma's immense bravery during the opening scene where she holds back the wolves in order to save the children. These characters seem so exciting and unique, however, as the book slowly progresses the characters become exhausted. Everything becomes so repetitive and these fresh, interesting characters transform into dull, predictable people that are quite honestly boring. Another aspect of the novel I disliked was the cliche romance. As if the predictable characters weren't enough, the romance was so overused in nearly every adult fiction. Of course the main character falls in love with the boy next door. It was horribly unoriginal in my opinion and simply made the book drag on.

Favorite Character
Throughout the novel I had many different feelings towards the character Scarlett. Scarlett became my favorite character because of how brave she was throughout the events of the story. Scarlett proved herself as not only a great role model but also a leader by taking control of the task at hand. She was my favorite character because she became so courageous by willing to give up her own life in order to save/protect the younger girls.

I can't believe how many fenris tried to jump rosie and scarlett and silas. They were so close to killing the alpha arrow, that was crazy. I was worried when scarlette hit the regular guy with the axe I thought she was going to be caught by police. On top of it all rosie finds the potential fenris in tango class n he pratically kills her while dancing. Thankgod the class was full. I hope they capture the potential fenris.
